Avatar: The Way of Water Movie Review

Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, learn the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.

"Avatar: The Way of Water" is a visually spectacular movie that is a treat for the eyes. The 3D effects in this film were used exceptionally well and it makes you feel fully immersed in the world of Pandora. The special effects team should be commended for their work in this film, it's truly breathtaking. The story is simple, which is intentional and makes the movie more universal. Although the story is not the best, it serves its purpose as a fun blockbuster movie that will appeal to a global audience. The movie is worth watching on the biggest screen possible, especially in the third act where James Cameron goes all out with the action scenes. The action scenes are expertly directed and edited, and James Cameron is probably the best action director working currently. The female characters in the film were not treated fairly and they were not given much to do, but overall I had fun with it and I'm excited for the sequels.
