"Marcel the Shell with Shoes On" is an amazing stop motion movie that uses the medium creatively. The mix of stop motion characters with real-world elements creates a unique and charming experience. Jenny Slate, who voices the main character Marcel, is perfect for the role, and her voice brings the character to life. The humor is spot-on, with clever interactions between Marcel and the filmmaker character and hilarious scenes when Marcel starts to go viral on YouTube. The relationship between Marcel and his grandma is particularly heartwarming and was one of the highlights of the movie for me. It's impossible not to fall in love with Marcel, who has a childlike wonder and curiosity that makes you care deeply about him. The movie does drag on a little in the second half, but it nails the ending. Overall, it is a very fun, creative and even a little sad movie that will leave you with a smile on your face.
